Our Classroom Procedures, Rules, and Performance Rewards

PROCEDURES

A. Morning Routine – Come in, Sit Down, and D.E.A.R.
B. Transition – We move from subject to subject with music, so enjoy, stay positive, and be prepared by the time the music stops.
C. Lining Up – No one will begin transitioning until the class has settled, and become silent. I then call students according to preparedness. I reserve the right to return anyone to their seat.
D. Personal Property – Anything not used in class work should remain in your cubby, unless you ask for permission to retrieve materials that you need for class. No exceptions.
E. Dismissal Routine – Come in; sit down, D.E.A.R. until I signal you individually to prepare for going home.

RULES
1. Remain Calm. Shouting will not convince anyone you’re correct. Thought might.
2. Respect means positive, helpful language and actions towards yourself and others. Treat others as you would like them to treat you.
3. Work is required – Effort cannot be replaced by luck.
- When we, as a class, can perform as expected, we stay on GREEN. When we are off track, we move to YELLOW. When we are about to hit the wall and lose all privileges, we are on RED.
